Grand Forks and East Grand Forks saw a healthy jump in home sales during 2021. According to numbers compiled by the Grand Forks Board of Realtors over one-thousand homes (1,009)…townhomes…and condos were sold last year. That compares to 874 in 2020…and 855 two-years ago.
The board’s Mike Thompson says it was a solid year. “It was more of a sellers market this year and low interest rates really helped.”
The average sales price in 2021 was just over $256,000 dollars.
June was the busiest month of sales with 146 closings. January was the slowest with 41.
The report does not include private home sales.
