
No one was injured when a bullet from a handgun traveled through the floor of an apartment in south Grand Forks on Thursday.
According to police the gun owner – identified as Randall Brown – stated he was cleaning the firearm when it went off. The round went through a couch and into the downstairs unit where it became lodged in the floor. The incident at 4353 Pioneer Drive was reported shortly before 6:00 p.m. No one was injured.
The GFPD says a charge of discharge of a firearm within city limits has been forwarded to the city prosecutor.
