North Dakota leaders are reacting to the news of the passing of retired Brigadier General Al Palmer on Tuesday.  Palmer had recently been hospitalized with COVID complications.

Governor Doug Burgum says Palmer has a lasting impact on aviation and enjoyed helping others succeed.

In addition to his military career and leadership with the UND Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, Palmer was instrumental in the development of the Veterans Memorial Park in south Grand Forks.
