An inmate found dead Wednesday at the Otter Tail County jail has been identified.
Authorities say 28-year-old Lavuya Jade Baker of Wadena was discovered by correctional staff during a routine check.
Responding officers, along with correctional staff and paramedics, attempted life saving measures on Baker, but were unsuccessful.
Baker’s body was taken to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls for an autopsy.
The Fergus Falls Police Department is conducting an investigation.
