UND is holding the “Feel of Korea” cultural event tomorrow (Fri) at the Memorial Union Ballroom… a South Korean festival of arts, food and pop culture.

The free, family-friendly event runs from 10 AM to 6 PM… with an opening ceremony at 2 PM. It includes hour-long performances by the Chicago Korean Dance Company and the Korean Performing Arts Institute of Chicago.

In addition, the South Korean Consulate General of Chicago, Young Sok Kim, will attend the event.

He’s scheduled to meet with Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski Friday morning…then meet with UND President Andrew Armacost and North Dakota Lt. Gov. Brent Sanford in the afternoon.

The event is co-hosted by the UND Korean Culture Exchange Club … the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chicago …and UND’s College of Arts & Sciences and International Center.
