A semi-train crash in the City of Ottertail heavy damaged the truck and trailer.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff says the driver of the semi crossed the Canadian Pacific rail tracks in front of a south bound train. The trailer contained food grade restaurant supplies which were scattered over the area.
Deputies responded to the accident around 7:40 a.m. The driver of the semi was not injured. The train conductor sustained minor injuries which did not need medical attention.
The S-O says charges are pending for the driver of the tractor trailer for unsafe railroad crossing.
