CDC: GF County at high transmission level

Grand Forks County is now at a high transmission level for COVID-19, according to the CDC.

The County is averaging nearly 108 cases per 100,000 in the past seven days.

The CDC shows 29 of North Dakota’s 53 counties at a high level, including Pembina, Cavalier, Traill, Steele and Cass.

Walsh, Ramsey and Nelson Counties are at the substantial level.

In Minnesota, Polk County is at the substantial level, while Norman, Pennington, Marshall and Roseau are high.

North Dakota’s health department reports 1,353 active cases in the state, with 95 in Grand Forks County… and 254 new cases statewide – 16 of those in Grand Forks County.

For the third day in a row, the Grand Forks Health Officer’s dashboard has Grand Forks County in the “yellow” or moderate risk for COVID-19.

Minnesota health officials report 1,355 new cases and eight deaths today.
