The U-S has reached the goal of partially vaccinating 70-percent of adults.  It comes as the Delta variant is spreading rapidly – primarily among the unvaccinated.

The North Dakota Health Department reports a 49.7% one dose coverage rate among those 12 and older. The rate varies from county to county.

Generally speaking eastern counties have higher rates than western areas of the state.  Among the larger metro areas Cass County has a one dose rate of 60.8%… Grand Forks County sits at 54.7%…and Burleigh County at 50.9%.

The department says Dickey County is tops at 71.9% while Grant County comes in at just 31.9%.

Nelson County…….65.6%

Traill County ……….60.1%

Walsh County………59.5%

Pembina County…..55.9%

The U.S. vaccination rate has jumped 13.7-percent in the last week.
