A second Ontario man involved in transporting 67 illegal guns in a truck that was stopped in northwest Minnesota has pleaded guilty today to illegal possession of firearms in the U-S.
The U-S Attorney’s Office in St. Paul says 30-year-old Muzamil Addow and a co-defendant, 29-year-old Dayne Sitladeen, were stopped in January by a Minnesota trooper near Fergus Falls for driving 95 to 100 miles an hour in a pickup with Texas plates.
Addow was driving.
Both men gave the trooper fake IDs.
The trooper searched the truck after smelling marijuana … and recovered 67 guns and numerous pistol magazines, including 15 high-capacity magazines.
Court documents state that Sitladeen was in the country illegally. He pleaded guilty in June.
