The 1984 Columbia Road Overpass is slated for more repairs to fix a failed northern pedestrian expansion joint.  The problem was first notice in June of last year.  Repairs to finger joints on the driving lanes have been made in 2007…2012…and in 2020.

The project will involve removing the existing expansion joint and surrounding concrete.  A temporary walkway will be established for bike and pedestrian traffic.  The cost is estimated at around $150,000 dollars.

The city council will review the proposed project when they meet this evening (5:30 p.m.).
