The North Dakota Board of Higher Education today (Tuesday) extended the contract for the university system chancellor. Mark Hagerott’s salary will climb to $389,516 dollars.
Board Chair Nick Hacker says the 1.5 percent pay bump is in line with other NDUS positions.
Hagerott thanked the board for the contract saying his job is derivative of the work put in by a lot of people throughout the system.
The board approved the contract on a 7-0 vote.
