
Authorities are looking for a man wanted for attempted murder in connection with a shooting early Saturday at a south Grand Forks motel.
Police say 24-year-old Christopher Lane is also wanted for motor vehicle theft and reckless endangerment.
Police were called to the parking lot of the Quality Inn around 1:45 a.m. Saturday on reports of a male with a gunshot wound.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim had a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was transported by paramedics to Altru Hospital.
His condition is unknown and his name has not been released.
Police said Lane and the victim knew each other.
Anyone with info on Lane’s whereabouts is asked to contact Grand Forks Police.
