A 56 year old Grand Forks man faces a charge of terrorizing after waving a firearm in the parking lot of a north side apartment this afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of North 39th street around 4:45 p.m. The GFPD says the suspect reportedly loaded a shotgun in the parking lot and made threats to individuals across the street. The suspect later walked into an apartment at 1215 North 39th Street.
Officers made contact with the individual who agreed to come outside. Authorities say Luis Ramirez was taken into custody. There were no injuries. Police did recover a 20 gauge shotgun from the residence.
