A four vehicle pileup in a construction zone along Highway 2 west of Grand Forks on Tuesday left one driver injured.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol three of the vehicles were either stopped or slowing for a red light at the intersection with Airport Road. A 19-year old truck driver from Fordville (ND) struck the back of a trailer causing the chain reaction crash. The NDHP says a 25-year old woman from the Grand Forks Air Force Base received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Altru Hospital.
The accident blocked eastbound traffic for about 45 minutes.
