Suspect douses Fargo home with gasoline (updated)

A tense situation in Fargo has ended with a 25-year old man in custody.  Police were called to a south Fargo home shortly after 2:30 a-m on  a report of an individual dousing a house with gas.   Officers set up a perimeter and evacuated adjacent homes.  P-D Sgt. Travis Moser says the good news is no one was injured.

A team of officers cleared the house without finding the male identified as Tristan Olson.  Olson was found a short distance away.  He is being charged with terrorizing.

Fargo police have evacuated nearby homes where a man has doused a house with gasoline and is threatening to start a fire. Officers were called to the residence on the 1700 block of 13 ½ Street South around 2:30 a.m. Police are actively trying to communicate with the individual. All gas to the house has been shut off. Police say everyone except the adult male has been evacuated from the home.
