A 37-year old Red Lake (MN) man has been charged with aggravated sexual abuse. Descart Begay Jr. appeared in U.S. District Court this week for the alleged incident that occurred back in July on the Red Lake Indian Reservation.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says Begay engaged in a sexual act with an individual by using force and placing the individual in fear. The investigation was conducted by the Red Lake Tribal Police Department and the FBI Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force.
