Driver with goats in vehicle stopped twice for speeding on I-94

By Pat Sweeney May 28, 2021 | 3:28 PM

The North Dakota Highway Patrol made a pair of unusual traffic stops last weekend.

A trooper cited a woman for going 90 in a 75-mile-an-hour zone on I-94 near Jamestown.

The woman told the trooper she was driving across the country with two goats in her vehicle – and said the goats were distracting her.

Later, another trooper stopped the same driver for speeding near Casselton.

In a Facebook post, the Highway Patrol called the goat-mobile “the highlight of the weekend.”
