A For Sale sign could soon be up at the former West School in Grand Forks. The school district is in early discussions with developers about the future of the property. School officials say there has been some preliminary interest in the site which is currently zoned for residential use.
Business Manager Scott Berge says the district will likely prepare a document requesting proposals for the sale of West and present it to the school board at the June 14th meeting.
Superintendent Terry Brenner says another step in any potential sale is the fact the school sits on the state historical society listing.
