
After spending nearly four weeks in the “yellow” or moderate risk level for COVID-19 the Grand Forks health dashboard slipped back into the “green” or low risk on Sunday.
The North Dakota Health Department reported just six new cases of coronavirus in the county. There are now only 75 active cases in Grand Forks.
Across the state there were 42 new positive hits for a daily positivity rate of 3.86%.

The CDC says 152-million Americans have had at least one shot of COVID-19 vaccine, about 58-percent of the adult population.
In Minnesota around 60% of the eligible population has been at least partially vaccinated – 50% fully vaccinated.
Since early April, the statewide average in Minnesota for first doses administered has fallen from about 40,000 per day to fewer than 14,000 at the end of last week.
