A 31-year old Bismarck woman faces charges in connection with an early morning break-in at the Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons building on DeMers Avenue.

Grand Forks police spotted an unclothed woman lying just off the 900 block of Columbia Road shortly after 12:30 a-m.  The woman had minor injuries to her arms and feet.  Authorities say Elsabeth Burns was transported to Altru Hospital where she was treated and released for her injuries.

During a canvass of the area officers found damage to the front door of a building shared by the Girl Scouts…Heartland Chiropractic Clinic…and Refrigeration and Heating Inc.  The investigation also determined the female discovered on the side of the road was the suspect in the burglary.

The GFPD says the incident remains under investigation.
