An accidental shooting in Cando (ND) has left a 15 year old boy dead. The Towner County Sheriff’s office responded to a 911 call early Saturday morning. When deputies arrived on scene they found the teen had been shot in the abdomen. The victim attempted to retrieve a rifle from the trunk of a car when the firearm discharged. The teen was identified as a freshman at NorthStar Public School in Cando.
