The Grand Forks Inspections Department has notified the owners of the Ambassador Motel of code violations that will force the Inn to close. The move follows an inspection by various departments including health and fire. Inspections Director Brandon Boespflug says they are working with various agencies to find housing for the residents staying at the Ambassador. The 22 unit motel is located at 2021 South Washington. A notice of the inspection has been posted on the building. The placard dated today (Friday) at 11:30 a.m. reads off limits to unauthorized personnel. A list of the issues that need to be addressed before reopening was not immediately available.
