The North Dakota Highway Patrol arrested a female driver who led troopers on a high-speed chase today (Tue) on I-29.
The H-P says the woman’s vehicle was stopped for speeding shortly before 11:00 AM near the Thompson southbound exit.
But as the trooper approached the vehicle, the woman drove off, prompting a pursuit that reached a top speed of 120 miles an hour.
Authorities say the woman drove through the median and headed north… then entered the median again and headed south.
The driver took the Mayville exit, but a trooper used a “pit” maneuver to end the pursuit.
The driver is identified as Madison Freeman.
Charges are pending.
