Charges have been filed against a 30-year old Grand Forks man after he attempted to flee police during a traffic stop last night (Thursday).
Authorities say they were investigating a stolen vehicle complaint and pulled the driver over in a parking lot off South 20th Street around 6:15 p.m. According to the GFPD the suspect briefly stopped and then sped away.
While attempting to flee police the driver struck a vehicle at 24th and South Washington. Officers eventually used a PIT maneuver to stop the suspect on the 27-hundred block of 24th Avenue South.
Authorities says Brice Gamboa faces charges of possession of stolen property… reckless endangerment…reckless driving…and possession of drug paraphernalia. No one was injured during the incident.
