A Bismarck man faces charges after a scuffle with West Fargo Police.
It happened Wednesday night as officers responded to a report of an individual with outstanding warrants who was possibly armed.
Officers encountered 29-year old Anthony Olson on foot. He initially refused police orders to show his hands but then flashed a brass knuckle knife. Still not complying with police commands the officers used a Taser and a beanbag-style shotgun. After a short foot pursuit Olson was stopped and used the knife in a slashing motion telling officers to shoot him. A Taser was deployed a second time and the suspect was placed into custody.
Olson was arrested for the outstanding warrants…terrorizing…and interfering with a 9-1-1 call.
