Minnesotans have received more than one million doses of COVID-19 vaccine. The state is reporting 1,016,210 doses administered as of today’s (Friday) official report.
In all, 728,081 Minnesotans had received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 286,543 had completed the two-dose series. The seven-day rolling average of doses administered is now 29,705.
This week the state launched an online tool to help Minnesotans connect to a network and find out when, where, and how to get their COVID-19 vaccine.
Minnesota is currently vaccinating health care workers, long-term care residents and staff, teachers and school staff, child care workers, and people age 65 and over. Health officials say the new connector will allow the state to alert other residents when they become eligible and notify them of vaccination opportunities.
