North Dakota reports 3 more deaths, 105 new COVID-19 cases

North Dakota health officials reported Saturday that an additional three people have died from COVID-19 complications and 105 more people have been confirmed to have the virus. A total of 1,422 people have died from the virus in North Dakota since the pandemic began and more than 97,500 people have had confirmed infections. The number of active infections in the state on Saturday was 1,032 — a number that has been on a gradual decline since peaking on Nov. 13 when more than 10,000 active cases were reported. Forty-eight people were hospitalized with COVID-19 on Saturday, including eight who were in intensive care units.
