The North Dakota House has killed a measure which would have added restrictions to beginning drivers.
The bill would have increased the time a beginning driver has to have a permit from 6 months to one year, and it would have imposed further passenger restrictions.
Supporters say it’s meant to provide more training for the younger driver. The bill failed on a 73 to 18 vote.
