A Carson (ND) man has been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison on charges of possession of child pornography and impersonating a federal officer.
The U-S Attorney’s Office says 41-year-old Robert Zeller pleaded guilty in October.
Authorities say that in 2018, while Zeller was on supervised release for a prior federal sex offense, he engaged in sexual acts with a minor female… recorded the acts on a cell phone… and later possessed the videos containing depictions of those acts.
Then in January 2020, Zeller impersonated his federal probation officer… contacted the same minor female… and issued false threats against her to trick her into providing him with videos, photographs, and personal information.
