(KNOX/KFGO) –A Pelican Rapids man suffered minor injuries when he made an abrupt stop while he was on his motorcycle last Thursday.
26-year-old Brendan Nolan anticipated that an oncoming vehicle was going to turn in front of him. He aggressively stopped with the front brake and he went over the handlebars when skidding down.
Nolan had several road rash injuries and a possible foot injury. Deputies say he was wearing a helmet and is expected to be fine. He didn’t collide with anything object or person, but the motorcycle does have some damage.
No citations were issued. Both alcohol and speed were not a factor for either driver.
