Fargo police say a man’s body was found floating in a retention pond today (Mon).
Shortly after 9:00 AM, police were sent to the 3500 block of Main Ave.
The initial investigation indicates the man had been in the pond for an undetermined amount of time.
The Fargo Fire Department assisted the Fargo P-D with the removal of the body, which was transported to UND’s Forensic Pathology Department for an autopsy.
Police do not believe there is an active threat to the public.
