Grand Forks Police have confirmed that a body found in a downtown alley on Thursday afternoon is that of Anthony Valdez, who was missing since Sunday.
The 26-year-old man was discovered at about 12:15 PM Thursday on the 10 block of North 3rd Street.
Valdez was last seen near a bar in that area.
Police say the circumstances behind his death are under investigation. But there were no obvious signs of trauma.
