
Two people were killed in a head-on collision Tuesday afternoon in Wadena County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened shortly before 5:00 PM northeast of Wadena on U-S Highway 71.
A northbound passenger car veered over the center line and ran into an oncoming semi.
The driver of the car, 58-year-old Tina Dawson of Anoka, and a passenger, 57-year-old Todd Dawson of Park Rapids, were killed.
The driver of the semi, a 63-year-old Mississippi man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
