A 44 year old Maddock (ND) man was injured when he crashed his pickup into the back of a slower moving semi in Wells County on Friday.
The North Dakota Patrol says both vehicles were heading west on Highway 200 when the accident occurred about 10 miles east of Bowden (ND).
Authorities say Eric Hvinden was transported to Carrington St. Alexus Hospital and later Sanford Hospital in Fargo with non-life threatening injuries. The semi driver was not hurt.
The NDHP says Hvinden was not wearing a seat-belt and has been charged with driving under suspension and open container.
