The North Dakota Department of Health reports two new deaths related to COVID-19. The latest victims, a Burleigh County woman in her 90s…and an Eddy County woman in her 80s. Both had underlying health conditions.
The state death toll is now 170.
Officials confirmed 255 new positive cases in the past day…in 24 counties. Cass County led the way with 80 cases…with 42 in Burleigh… 34 in Stark… and 32 in Grand Forks County.
North Dakota has had 15,831 positive cases since the pandemic began.
There are 2,758 active cases… 273 in Grand Forks County… 165 of those cases are between the ages of 15 and 29.
Grand Forks County has a positivity rate of 7.53 percent.
Sixty-five North Dakotans are currently hospitalized.
Minnesota’s case count increased by 643 to 84,949. Three new deaths were reported for a total of 1,922.
