North Dakota health officials report 23 new deaths related to COVID-19, including four Grand Forks County men (three in their 80s; one in his 70s).

That brings the county death toll to 39. The state death toll is 818.

New cases in North Dakota rose slightly to 1,408…led by Ward County with 240. .. 219 in Cass… 185 in Burleigh… 153 in Grand Forks.

The state has now passed the 70,000 mark in total positives since the pandemic began (70,016).

Active cases dropped by 200 to 9,915… including 1,107 in Grand Forks County.

Hospitalizations increased to 289…34 in ICU. Altru reports 35 COVID patients today.

Nearly 1,600 people recovered since yesterday.

The daily positivity rate rose a bit to 14.99 percent.
