Burgum waives physical polling place requirement

Because of the coronavirus, voting will look a lot different in North Dakota’s June primary.
Gov. Doug Burgum has signed an executive order waiving the requirement that counties must provide at least one physical polling place on election day.
"It gives counties local flexibility and control to conduct the primary by mail ballot only -- if the county chooses to do this." Burgum said.
The primary is scheduled for June 9.
