Minnesota’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says it’s investigating numerous “swatting” incidents involving emailed bombing and shooting threats made today (Wed) to at least 25 schools and nine Jewish facilities.

Officials say no incidents have turned out to be real. They say the language in each threat is almost identical.

Investigators determined that an individual and address identified in the threats have no known involvement in these swatting incidents.

Police in Brainerd (MN) say a bomb threat this (Wed) morning involving the Brainerd School District was determined to be a hoax.

Bemidji had a similar swatting incident on Tuesday that forced schools into e-learning today (Wed). Police say a juvenile male was arrested for felony terroristic threats.
