he North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a man who died in a two-vehicle crash south of Minot on Wednesday afternoon.
Fifty-seven-year-old Marc Horning of Stevensville, Montana, was driving an eastbound pickup truck that failed to yield to a southbound Freightliner at the intersection of U-S Highway 83 and State Highway 23.
The semi tried to brake, but struck the crossing pickup. Both vehicles ended up in a median.
Horning was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi driver, a 57-year-old Bismarck man, was not injured.

A 57-year-old Stevensville, Montana, man died in a two-vehicle accident south of Minot (ND) on Wednesday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 1:40 PM Wednesday at the intersection of U-S Highway 83 and State Highway 23.
Troopers say the man was driving an eastbound pickup truck that failed to yield to a southbound Freightliner.
The semi tried to brake, but struck the crossing pickup. Both vehicles ended up in a median.
The Montana man was pronounced dead at the scene. It’s unknown if he was wearing a seat belt.
The semi driver, a 57-year-old Bismarck man, was wearing a seat belt, and was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
