By Doug Barrett Feb 27, 2023 | 7:51 AM

No arrests yet after the deadly mass shooting at an outdoor celebration of life event in Minnesota late Saturday. Saint Paul Police say five people were shot and two of those victims have died.

Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter says the violence needs to end,  Carter says he’s been involved in too many of these types of press conferences.

The shooting follows three teens who were shot and injured at a funeral reception for a high school student fatally stabbed at school two weeks earlier.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz called the weekend gun violence unacceptable.  “I’m committed to increasing public safety funding, getting illegal guns off the streets, and addressing gang activity to curb the cycle of violence.”
