3 finalists to interview for NDSCS President’s job

The search for the North Dakota State College of Science’s next president is down to three.

A Search Committee has advanced three finalists to the State Board of Higher Education, which will interview them on March 31st on the Wahpeton campus, followed by the announcement of a new president.

The finalists are:

Dr. Jeanine Gangeness (GANG-ness), associate VP for academic affairs and dean of the school of graduate studies at Winona State University

Dr. Carmen Simone, who resigned last June after 18 months as president of Western Nebraska Community College. ..

and Dr. Rod Flanigan, Dean of Business and Technology at Cochise College in Arizona.

The new president is expected to assume office by July.

John Richman retired as president last December. Dr. Harvey Link is serving as interim president.
