Former UND goalie McIntyre signs with Wild

Former UND goalie Zane McIntyre of Thief River Falls has signed a two-way contract with the Minnesota Wild for the rest of this season.

 

This season with Tucson of the AHL, McIntyre was 2-and-1 with a 2.73 goals-against average and .904 save percentage in three games.

 

In seven AHL seasons, McIntyre has a record of 114-57-25 with a 2.51 goals against average,  910 save percentage and 14 shutouts.

 

He played eight games for the NHL’s Boston Bruins in 2016-17…going 0-4-and-1.

 

McIntyre, 29, played at UND from 2012 to 2015.
