Deer season in Minnesota is a month away

(KNOX) – Hunters in antlerless deer lottery areas can buy licenses until September 5.
The DNR is lowering bag limits in northern Minnesota to increase deer populations.
Hunters are required to have deer one year old or older sampled for Chronic Wasting Disease in management and surveillance zones during the opening weekend of the firearms season November 9-10.
Archery deer season opens September 14.
Effective Friday, August 16 through November 30, Mille Lacs walleye anglers can harvest up to two walleye. Both fish can be 18-20 inches in length… or one can be 18-20 inches and the other must be longer than 28 inches.
