Flood Station 210 in Grand Forks to be Repaired

(KNOX) -Bids for repairs to Flood Station 210 will be opened by the City of Grand Forks.

City Engineer Al Grasser said that his department has put out requests for companies to do the work.

“We were authorized by the City Council to advertise for a bid,” Grasser said.

The Council can approve or disapprove the bid.

“We’ll bring the results of that bid directly to city council,” Grasser said.

Grand Forks City Council member Rebecca Osowski voted in favor of the motion to fix the flood station.

“I enjoy seeing our flood protection dollars go toward flood protection,” Osowski said at a Grand Forks Committee of the Whole meeting this week.

Money from the Flood Protection Capital Maintenance Fund will be used to make repairs to the flood station.

The work that is scheduled to done at the flood station is maintenance on pipe.
