(KNOX) – The Grand Forks Park District is meeting with architects today to review the schematic design for the proposed Altru Indoor Sports and Aquatic Complex.
Significant dates include September 30, when a rough draft is offered to the Grand Forks City Council. On October 7, the Park District will ask the city to sign off on the final design and allow the project to proceed.
After lengthy discussion Tuesday, the Park District removed a requirement to appoint a board member to the Grand Forks Youth Hockey Association from future agreements.
The District also moved for a Parks-and-Facilities Use Agreement with Grand Forks Public Schools…and to enter an engineering contract with CPS for the parking lot addition and maintenance project.
