(KNOX) – East Grand Forks City Council unanimously approved a pair of facility use agreements Tuesday night.
The first gives use to the Blue Line Club of VFW Memorial Arena from September 9 through October 10 for a total rent of $14,725.
The second permits the Northern Lights Figure Skating Club to use the VFW for the same time and a total rents of $6,260.
The council also adopted a resolution approving the 2024-25 winter program fees.
Mayor Steve Gander said Hot Valley Nights was “really quite amazing.” He credited Jarrod Thomas and several people within the City for the transformation.
Engineer Steve Emery said the street work in the East Grand Forks Quiet Zone should be finished by next Tuesday.
