(KNOX) -Crews are working on the Columbia Road Overpass.
Traffic control is in place.
Crews will be sandblasting and painting work on the north 1/3 of the Columbia Road Overpass. Once in place, the traffic control is expected to remain for 2 to 4 days.
The west northbound lane and both southbound lanes of the overpass will remain open during this phase of the project.
Additional traffic control measures are expected to take effect in the coming weeks as this project progresses.
The city will provide updates as soon as the future project schedule and work is known.
