(KNOX) – The City of Grand Forks is accepting public comment until July 5 on the proposed construction of affordable housing along 62nd Avenue South between Cherry and Cottonwood Streets.
Upon completion, there will up to 55 affordable housing units to serve as permanent, supportive housing for low- and moderate-income households.
The project will also include two units to serve as a community room and on-site property management office. The project will annex about 5.5 acres of undeveloped land in the 500-year flood plain.
The project will use grant money from Housing and Urban Development.
Written comments must be received on or before 5 p.m., July 5th at City of Grand Forks, 255 North Fourth Street in Grand Forks… with attention to Ryan Brooks, Director of Planning and Community Development.
