(KNOX) – Longtime Crookston resident Mike Christopherson has officially filed his candidacy for Minnesota House of Representatives District 1B.
In early May… he was nominated by former Senator Roger Moe at the DFL endorsing convention.
Christopherson spent the bulk of his professional career as a reporter and then managing editor for the Crookston Times newspaper. He was also a teaching specialist at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.
Since October 2021 he has been a full-time substitute teacher at Fisher Public School.
Christopherson is hitting the campaign trail Saturday, June 1 at the Small Town Saturday event in Climax and also at the Erskine Water Carnival parade.
