Circle of Friends receives investment grant from Petco Love

(KNOX) – Circle of Friends Animal Shelter has received a $15,000 grant investment from national nonprofit Petco Love in support of their lifesaving work for animals in the Grand Forks area.
Since its founding in 1999, Petco Love has invested $375 million in adoption and other lifesaving efforts.
Circle of Friends Animal Shelter is a nonprofit organization that enriches the lives of pets through healing, education and connecting companions, serving the Grand Fork area since 1974.
In 2023 Circle of Friends Animal Shelter:
• Was recognized by the ASPCA Northern Tier as one of the top five shelters with the highest claim rate;
• Provided 3,475 vaccination to pets;
• Performed 854 spays and neuters;
• Microchipped 976 pets;
• Facilitated children’s learning events serving over 1,500 people;
• Provided care for 1,678 pets; and
Found adoptive families for 1,115 pets.
